Learning French, or any language, is a time to make lots of mistakes. It’s all part of the learning experience. It can be frustrating, but you should be comforted by the fact that you’re probably not the first person who has ever made that same error. In fact, a good way to learn is focusing specifically on common French mistakes, so that you can avoid them in the future. With that in mind, we designed a quiz that includes some of the most frequent errors French learners make.
The quiz doesn’t cover every possible mistake you might make, but by taking it, you might be able to see where you have the most trouble. Is it adjectives? False friends? Word order? We also give you a brief explanation of each error, so you’re not left scratching your head as to what makes one answer wrong and another correct.
