Join Babbel21: A 21-Day Plan To Form A Healthy Habit In 2018

How often do you begin the new year with expectations about how productive, how healthy, how much happier you’ll finally be — only to look back a month later and feel, well, about the same as when you started? Don’t be embarrassed, it happens to the best of us. About 40 percent of daily life is shaped by habits. If you can take just a few minutes per day to form a healthy new habit, like learning a language, imagine what else you can achieve in 2018!

How Does Babbel21 Work?

Every day, from Jan. 2 to Jan. 22, you’ll complete a Babbel lesson and a daily challenge from the list below to share using the hashtag #Babbel21. It should only take you 10-15 minutes per day, and you can do it all from your phone.

Babbel21 Daily Challenges

Why 21 Days?

When you’re talking about adding a 10-15 minute commitment to your day, it’s generally accepted that three weeks, or 21 days, is about how long it takes to click. Additionally, we’ve tried-and-tested the three-week challenge with our own staff and know that what you can accomplish in that short time period is, well, impressive!

Why Language Learning?

We’re biased, but we think learning a language is one of the best investments you can make for yourself. Not only does it help you make meaningful connections with other people, it can help boost your career, enhance your travel experiences and there’s even science-backed evidence out there about how learning new things makes you happier.

What Can I Actually Expect to Learn in 21 Days?

You will be surprised by how much you can learn in just three weeks – we were! For example, take our Spanish Beginner’s Course — if you dedicate 15 minutes every day, you’ll be able to finish the entire course by the end of the challenge. This course covers 22 topics, basic grammar and conversations that will help you introduce yourself, order at a bar, ask for directions and more.

How Do I Get Started?

  1. Be sure to follow our Babbel USA social accounts: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  2. If you don’t already have a Babbel subscription, be sure to get one here. Don’t worry — you can cancel anytime.
  3. Start using the #Babbel21 hashtag for a chance to be featured and connect with other language learners!

We’re excited to support you in your pursuit of healthy habits! See you in 2018.
