In cooperation with Babbel, Cambridge English has created this English test. Cambridge English is a concept of learning and teaching the English language and an assessment of your English skills in written and oral form.
With the Babbel English test you can enhance your career opportunities by mentioning it in your CV or LinkedIn and other similar networks.
It’s a multiple choice test in which respondents are asked to select one correct answer out of choices from a list.
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment, abbreviated in English as CEFR is a guideline used to describe achievements of learners of foreign languages across Europe and, increasingly, in other countries.(CEFR)
You can achieve certification at three different levels: A1: Beginner, A2: Elementary or B1: Intermediate.
You'll need about 45 min (or less!) to complete the test.
You must have a Babbel account, for which you only need an existing email address and a password. To take the test you need a reliable internet connection and a webcam with speakers and a microphone. Make sure you’re using the newest version of your browser (Chrome or Firefox).
In case your browser is not the most up to date version, you’ll find here the instructions for updating it:
You should make sure that you are alone in a quiet, well-lit room and that your face is not obscured by sunglasses, etc. Keep your face in the camera frame during the entirety of the test and keep your eyes on the test. Do not use any outside materials during the test.
You will be able to download your certificate as a PDF immediately after successfully completing the test.
You can pay for the Babbel English test with credit or debit card.
