- 21 Free Online Foreign Language Vocabulary Packages for Typical Holiday Situations
In the airport, at the car rental desk or the hotel reception, the online language learning platform Babbel.com gets you ready with free, playful vocabulary exercises for situations encountered when traveling. Among them, the newly compiled "Mini-Vocab Package" offers essential vocabulary for the first contact with the language of the destination country.
Despite the recession people are still traveling abroad. For anyone who would like to learn the language of the country they are traveling to, or simply refresh their previous knowledge, the online language learning portal Babbel.com offers 21 related exercise packages. Whether hiring a car, arriving at a hotel, asking for directions or ordering in a restaurant, knowledge of the local language is always helpful. With these situations in mind, Babbel.com has developed themed online exercises. Understanding and being understood can certainly contribute to getting to know the country and its inhabitants better. There are exercises in the most important languages English, Spanish, French, Italian and German.
"Mini-Vocab Package" as a fast start into a language
The new "Mini-Vocabulary" offers basic words and phrases like "hello", "excuse me", or "my name is" that are truly essential for the spontaneous traveler. After this short exercise, even someone who has never been in the country or in contact with the language before does not have to stress in anticipation of the first encounter with the locals. Vocabulary packages are specially assembled together for Last Minute Travel and can be learned quickly the night before the flight.
